Everything is more fun when its a friendly competition.

Our goal is to provide the help needed to move both individuals and communities into long-term sustainability, not dependence upon any outside source.

Impact Nations has Skills & Business programs that are helping people of all ages become self-sustained in nations such as Uganda, Kenya, and India.

In Uganda, our partner, Era92, operates a vocational school  aimed at raising up young adults from the slums of Kampala and helping them discover their destiny.

We thought it would be fun to give our graduates  the opportunity to compete for a bit of business.

Era92's Vision

The Era92 Elevate program's sole purpose is to empower youths-at-risk in Uganda through teaching skills in Design, Arts and Technology, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Sustainable Development.

By the end of this five-month program, each student will have found a client in their specific field and performed a service for them, be it designing a website, a video, screen printing or graphic designing.

The t-shirts that you voted on today were designed by those who are participated in this program and are beginning to develop their own small business.

The designer of the winning t-shirt will receive a cash prize, meanwhile all proceeds from the sale of the shirts will be reinvested in our Skills & Business programs.

Life as a refugee is an extremely harsh reality. Precious had been moving in and out of different countries until she finally moved to Uganda in 2009. Education is very costly as a refugee in any country and so, unable to complete her studies, she resorted to finding some work through a friend who then told her about era92. They interested her in the Elevate Program and she opted for Graphics Design class. She’s very interested in what she does and her tutor says she’s poised to be a great designer in the future. She hopes to design for big clients when she graduates from the program.

    REBECCA NASSANGA

Family relations are quite complex but for some, like Rebecca, they get heated and reach levels they shouldn’t. Evicted from home and trying to sustain her life all by herself, Rebecca ran to era92 for support and guidance on how to continue her education. They enrolled her in the Elevate program and is currently studying Graphics. She’s super active in class and inquisitive. You can tell she’s determined to improve herself and her work which is always a good sign in every student. She hopes to continue practicing her craft, designing for a few clients as she builds her way up.

    Kizza

    SYRIL KIZZA

He opted to interest himself in anything to do with design which is what he has always gravitated towards. When he learned of Elevate, he didn't hesitate to reach out and sign up for the Graphics Design class. That’s the thing about finally discovering your purpose, Syril is starting to truly live and hopes to start his own agency in the future.
